Radisson Hotel Group plans to open more than 400 new hotels by 2022

The Radisson Hotel Group has signed up nearly 200 hotels in 2021 and plans to add over 400 new hotels in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia in 2022.In 2022, Radisson Hotels Group will continue to vigorously expand its popular luxury lifestyle brand, Radisson Select, and open multiple outlets in key gateway destinations.Major openings for 2022 include: the highly anticipated and recently renovated Radisson Collection Hotel Berlin, located in Berlin Mitte, Manssad Riyadh, designed to pay homage to the Hausmann style of mid-18th century Paris;Radisson Collection Galle resort, located in a popular seaside destination in Sri Lanka;The Radisson Radisson Collection Gran Via Bilbao is located in the heart of the city, just a few minutes’ drive from Bilbao’s iconic sights.Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin2021, the group celebrates the opening of Radisson Collection hotels in popular destinations such as Seville, Venice, Milan, Bodrum, Nanjing and Shanghai, and brings the brand Collection to 45 operating and developing regions.Radisson Individuals, the group’s soft brand launched in 2020, will welcome more than 13 new destinations in 2022, with projects in Russia, the UK, India, Belgrade, Athens, Paris and Istanbul.In 2021, the group’s resorts added approximately 20 new signings, bringing the total resort offering in operation and development to over 100 projects.With the continued opening of borders and the return of leisure travel, as well as the opening of Radisson Blu Resort in Palm Jumeirah dubai and Radisson Blu Resort in Hai ‘an, Radisson Hotels Group will expand its lifestyle resort programme in major holiday destinations such as Dubai and Vietnam with an estimated addition of nine more hotels.Radisson Resort Dubai Palm Jumeirah2021 also marks Radisson Blu’s 10th year as Europe’s largest premium hotel brand, bringing the number of hotels to over 400 with the opening of projects in Zambia, Saudi Arabia, Morocco and India.With the opening of radisson Hotel Group’s 100th hotel in India in 2021, it is an important milestone while also consolidating its international presence in Turkey, Morocco, Vietnam, China and Italy.The Radisson Hotel Group has nearly 300 hotels and continues to expand its presence in cities such as Amsterdam, Dubai, Shanghai and New Delhi.”2021 is a challenging year to continue the fight against coronavirus disease.This background motivates us to innovate, which leads to more opportunities and challenges.We look forward to creating even more growth in 2022.Our heartfelt thanks to our supporters, colleagues, investors, shareholders and guests who continue to support radisson Hotels Group.””Said Elie Younes, radisson’s global chief development officer.
